What a blessing to celebrate with Suki Kangas her 10 year anniversary in full-time ministry this July 12th!!! Suki is the technology lead on Equip & Grow’s board of directors and has blessed us immensely over the years. From her contagious giggle to her highly skilled technology experience, Suki has changed our ministry in a myriad of ways. Here are just a few things she has accomplished in the last decade…
- Helped write 17 or so curriculum programs
- Saw 10 million of those curriculum files downloaded
- Learned linguistic tech, trained DTP specialists in 20 languages, created proprietary fonts when necessary and improved systems with changing times
- Built website with 26 languages; trained web editors
- Helped introduce curriculum in India, built rapport with existing and influential ministries
- Created hundreds of graphic designs to attract clients
- Wrote several how-to books, dozens of skits, activities, etc.
- Recorded hundreds of videos
- Helped conduct training programs in 4 countries on 3 continents
- Choreographed over 100 songs
- Helped train 75 global workers
- Helped write and compile innovative global worker kid training program, correlated with adult training
- Reverse engineered existing tech systems, developed IT department for GFM
- With fresh info, launched several updated tech systems; trained staff
- Increased GFM’s reader engagement among audience of 7000
