Overcoming Tragedy in Mexico

A Testimony from Aurora Trejo Hipólito

Sister Aurora shared her testimony with us that her husband disappeared in 2015 with a group of 30 missing people all on the same day. At the end of 2022, she was informed that the authorities had found his body and she shared how difficult it had been for her to manage all the details while serving the Lord, but she pressed on with a full heart. She completed our level 1 training “VIP Coaching” for children’s ministry leadership with weekly classes and homework assignments, obtaining her certificate at the end of 2022. She joined with another sister in Coatza who was also graduating from our course to celebrate together. Now her church asked her to provide training for other teachers both in their church and with other churches in their city, and she finished a training session in February of 2023.

Aurora shares, “I believe that God has placed me here in this children’s ministry for a purpose. God enables us to have strength, but there are times when I feel like a weak human being. I am holding the hands of the Lord; he is my everything. Your training has been a huge blessing and I have learned a lot.
